Every eligible mattress is sanitised, then rehomed through one of the charity partners below — not landfilled, not just shredded.
Eastern Emergency Relief Network (EERN)
Founded in 1995, EERN is a volunteer-run charity that collects quality donated household items and redistributes them, free of charge, to people experiencing hardship across Melbourne's eastern suburbs.
Working alongside a network of community organisations, EERN supports people who are rebuilding after life's toughest moments, including:
- Families escaping domestic violence
- People experiencing homelessness
- Individuals recovering after fire or natural disasters
- Refugees establishing a new home
- People affected by illness, unemployment or financial hardship

Every year, EERN helps hundreds of households access essential furniture and bedding.
In the 2022–2023 year alone:
beds and mattresses were distributed to 443 client groups
referrals were supported through EERN's warehouses
volunteers contributed thousands of hours helping families access the essentials they need
